Orto is a trend-conscious modern production company producing natural cosmetics and consumer-friendly household chemicals. Given lapsing of the former markets and strengthening of competition, the former large-scale company has become a compact small company by today. Today sale of cosmetics forms 70% of the turnover of Orto. The share of exports comprises ca 15% of the total sales. The quality level of Orto production permits for a major boost in the share of export in the total sales. Recently exports to the European Union were started. Introduction of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14000 Environmental Management System facilitates growth of trust and exports.
According to the market study on Estonia by AC Nielsen Orto has reached the third position among producres in skincare segment in terms of sales value and first position in terms of sales volume.
